As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that Neil Patrick Harris, a multiple Emmy and Tony Award winner known for his role in ‘Uncoupled’, has landed a guest starring role in the forthcoming Showtime original series, ‘Dexter: Resurrection’. The production for this spin-off of ‘Dexter: New Blood’ began in January right here in New York City. This intriguing continuation is scheduled to premiere this summer exclusively on Paramount+, in collaboration with Showtime.
Clyde Phillips, the series creator and executive producer, is building an impressive cast for the return of Dexter, with Michael C. Hall reprising his role as the title character Dexter Morgan. Other familiar faces include David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan, and James Remar as Harry Morgan. Newcomers to the series are Uma Thurman as Charley, Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater, Krysten Ritter as Mia Lapierre, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, and Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera.
The initial prequel series for the Dexter franchise, titled “Dexter: Original Sin,” has wrapped up its 10-episode debut season and can now be streamed online.
