The Tamil film “Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam” (NEEK) has now become available for streaming online following a successful run in cinemas. As it launched digitally today, social media is abuzz as viewers discuss their reactions to Dhanush’s directorial work. Some viewers have expressed satisfaction, while others have voiced their dissatisfaction due to the lack of release for the Telugu-dubbed version.

Initially, viewers hoped that NEEK would be accessible in languages other than Tamil, but they felt let down when it wasn’t released in Telugu after its online premiere. The tale of NEEK centers on Prabhu, a young chef grappling with the aftermath of his past love affair with Nila. Despite his parents setting up a prospective match with Preethi, an old friend from childhood, Prabhu encounters Nila again at a gathering. Their affection for each other reignites, but he pulls away when he discovers that her father is terminally ill.

In a mix-up of feelings, I found myself agreeing to marry Arvind, not fully comprehending his intentions. NEEK is a film that Dhanush not only stars in, but also directs and co-produces with Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri.
