The movie titled Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, often referred to as NEEK, is indeed one of the most eagerly awaited films this year. This film, being Dhanush’s third directorial project, is scheduled for release on the big screens tomorrow, February 21st.
Without a doubt, excitement for the film is at an all-time high and just hours are left before its premiere. In anticipation of its release, the director of the film, Dhanush, shared his thoughts with fans on his official platform (previously Twitter). The actor from Raayan expressed confidence that the audience will find the movie as enjoyable as the team did while creating it.
Additionally, he mentioned that each of the young actors involved in the movie are excited about what lies ahead for them. He expressed that they’re filled with aspirations, hoping that their dreams will become a reality. Dhanush shared his perspective, having been in similar circumstances before, and acknowledged how they might be feeling at this moment.
This afternoon, GV Prakash, the composer of the movie, expressed his thoughts on his official social media platforms about the project. He stated that it will be an enjoyable experience for the youth, and also mentioned that he himself is a big fan of this project.

Apart from GV Prakash, others like SJ Suryah, who watched the film during its initial screening, have voiced their views about it online as well. Recently, even directors such as Mari Selvaraj and Arun Matheswaran have expressed their opinions on the movie through social media platforms.
Previously noted, NEEK marks Dhanush’s third directorial effort, following the 2017 release Pa. Paandi and last year’s Raayan. The upcoming movie features a fresh, talented cast led by Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Anikha Surendran, among others.
Beyond that, Dhanush himself makes a special appearance within the movie. Moreover, the production of NEEK was funded not only by Dhanush but also his father, Kasthuri Raja. The cinematography and editing for the film were handled skillfully by Leon Britto and Prasanna GK respectively.
Apart from “Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam,” another directorial endeavor by Dhanush is slated for release this year. It has been announced that his fourth project, titled “Idly Kadai,” will premiere in theaters in April of this year. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Samuthirakani, and others in pivotal roles.
Moving onto Dhanush’s acting career, you can expect to see him alongside Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming movie called Kubera. Furthermore, he is planning to star in Anand L. Rai’s next production titled Tere Ishk Mein, where Kriti Sanon will be the main female character.
