It’s often the case that Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan grab attention due to their heartwarming bond. Lately, there have been whispers about them splitting up, but those rumors have been squashed by the actress herself with a fresh photo of them together.
Nayanthara shuts down rumors of divorce from Vignesh Shivan
Nayanthara posted a photo on Instagram showing herself and Vignesh Shivan. In the picture, the actress from Jawan is seen reclining on top of him, gazing off into the distance.
When questioned about the allegations concerning her marriage, Nayanthara responded with, “We usually react when we come across absurd news about us.
Here’s the story shared by Nayanathara
Discussing actress Nayanthara, she’s been in headlines once more, this time due to unfavorable circumstances. As per the latest updates, the distribution firm AP International has filed a legal notice towards the makers of Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale.
In 2024, a documentary film has been hit with another legal issue due to its usage of clips from the movie Chandramukhi, starring Rajinikanth. The rights to this film belong to AP International, who are now seeking a compensation of 50 crore rupees from the documentary’s producers.
In my role as a lifestyle expert, I find myself observing the ongoing legal matter that Nayanthara finds herself in. Despite the escalation to court proceedings, she has yet to offer a response. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time the actress has encountered such a situation; earlier, Dhanush filed a lawsuit against her for utilizing footage from his film “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan,” which is under the ownership of his production house, Wunderbar Studios.
Nayanthara’s work front
In her most recent performance, Nayanthara starred as the main character in the film titled “Test.” This sports-themed drama, featuring Siddharth and R Madhavan alongside, made its debut exclusively on Netflix. The movie garnered a range of opinions from critics.
Stepping forward, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be gracing the screen as a co-lead alongside Yash in the gripping gangster actioner, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.” This film, helmed by the talented Geetu Mohandas, is shaping up to delve into the world of a Goa-based cartel.
The upcoming film, set to release on March 19, 2026, is being produced concurrently in Kannada and English. In addition to Yash and Nayanthara, the movie will feature Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and other notable actors in significant roles.
Additionally, the actress is featured in a variety of films including Mega157 starring Chiranjeevi, Dear Students, Mookuthi Amman 2, Rakkayie, as well as MMMN (Patriot) with Mammootty and Mohanlal, among others.
Instead of that, Vignesh Shivan will make his debut on the big screens with his movie Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) slated for release on September 18, 2025. This film featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and Kriti Shetty is a blend of science fiction and romantic comedy.
