As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but admire Nayanthara‘s resilience and grace in the face of adversity. Her candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter sheds light on an issue that many public figures deal with – the harsh scrutiny and judgment from social media users.
Nayanthara is known for keeping her social media followers engaged with frequent updates about her life. Lately, though, it appears she’s stopped sharing photos with her husband, Vignesh Shivan, while he continues to do so. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress addressed this noticeable change.
In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Nayanthara explained that she decided to stop sharing photos with her husband, Vignesh, due to the potential backlash of negative comments and criticism they might receive.
She expressed, “Every positive aspect in my life currently stems from his ideas. However, if I were to acknowledge him now during your interview, the initial comments would likely be unfavorable such as, ‘Oh my goodness! She’s praising her husband.’ At this point, I find myself unable to say anything complimentary about my spouse.
Subsequently, the actress known as Jawan admitted that she rarely shares photos of her husband on her Instagram story when he’s seated beside her. But every now and then, she enjoys posting a picture of Vignesh Shivan, especially when he’s not nearby, at which point she longs for his presence.
Speaking candidly about the hurtful comments her and her husband have endured, Nayanthara admitted, “When I speak up, there are countless remarks such as ‘Don’t they deserve this?’ Some of them are extremely harsh. Consequently, we’ve chosen to remain silent on the matter. However, I believe he deserves recognition, yet I’m unable to give it to him fully. One day, I hope to do so.
In the course of our chat, the leading actress unexpectedly disclosed that she’s encountered harsh criticism from others due to her decision to marry Vignesh Shivan. She revealed that despite being more experienced in the industry, Vignesh has consistently stood by her side as a supportive partner.
She commented, “I believe the animosity stems from the fact that perhaps he hasn’t produced consecutive box-office hits or because there are significant intervals between his films. Maybe it’s due to my existing success and recognition. It seems unjust to compare us, as we are distinct individuals. If the roles were reversed by gender, would you still make such comparisons?
For those unfamiliar, actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan have been fortunate to welcome twin boys, named Uyir and Ulagam, into their lives. The joyous instances they share on social media truly embody the essence of a perfect family, melting our hearts.
