The television network AMC and its streaming service, AMC+, have announced that they will both debut the series “Nautilus” – an adaptation of Jules Verne’s novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea – on a shared release date. They’ve also unveiled a teaser trailer to mark this upcoming U.S. premiere. This news follows over a year since AMC obtained the U.S. rights to the show after its cancellation from Disney+.

When is the Nautilus release date?
The underwater adventure series titled “Nautilus” is set to launch on June 29th at 9 p.m., both on AMC and AMC+. The first pair of episodes will be shown initially, with new episodes being released weekly every Sunday until the climactic two-episode finale on August 17th.
Nautilus is helmed by creator and executive producer James Dormer, with Michael Matthews at the director’s helm. The star-studded cast includes Shazad Latif from Black Mirror portraying the legendary Captain Nemo, Georgia Flood from Apples Never Fall as Humility Lucas, Céline Menville from Emily in Paris as Loti, and Thierry Fremont from Liaison as Benoit. Joining them are Oscar nominee Richard E. Grant, Anna Torv, and Noah Taylor, who are slated to make guest appearances. The series is also produced by Xavier Marchand, Anand Tucker, and Cameron Welsh, with Johanna Devereaux, Chris Loveall, Colleen Woodcock, and Daisy Gilbert serving as executive producers.
