Nani CLARIFIES confusion about calling his film The Paradise as ‘Indian Mad Max’

Actor Nani is preparing for the premiere of his upcoming film “The Paradise,” scheduled for release on March 26, 2026. Previously, there was some confusion when he inadvertently referred to the movie as “Mad Max” from India; however, he has since clarified this error.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Nani explained, “Currently, we’re getting ready for The Paradise production. Filming will commence shortly, and let me tell you, it’s an insane movie! In one of my previous interviews, I referred to the film as ‘Mad Max’. Yet, some have mistakenly labeled it a ‘Mad Max-style’ movie.

The actor made clear that his statement didn’t imply the movie was going to resemble a Mad Max film in style, but rather it would reach its peak in terms of insanity. However, some people misunderstood him as saying it would be an “Indian Mad Max,” but the Leading Man has since clarified and confirmed that it’s not the case at all.

Speaking about the movie and its director Srikanth Odela, Nani commented, “Srikanth has an exceptionally unique perspective. His high points often arise from the most unpredictable places. The way he views a specific scene or episode, I believe no other filmmaker in the Telugu film industry would approach it in the same way.

Wrapping up his statement, Nani emphasized that the movie will have an exhilarating, high-energy vibe throughout, similar to a concert. Moreover, while he can’t share many details, he hinted that the film is filled with surprising scenes that will leave the audience on their feet, cheering loudly.
