Nagarjuna Akkineni says, ‘What you have done for Chaitanya is…’ at Thandel success meet; calls Sobhita Dhulipa his ‘Vela Vishesham’

Naga Chaitanya’s performance in the recently premiered movie “Thandel” has left a strong impression on audiences. This Telugu survival drama is already making waves at the box office after only a few days since its release, showcasing impressive ticket sales. At an event celebrating the film’s success, it was Nagarjuna’s heartfelt comment that stood out.

As a loving father, Nagarjuna became sentimental upon seeing his son, Naga Chaitanya, achieve success with the film ‘Thandel’.

Apart from that, Nagarjuna also expressed gratitude towards everyone who had put in tireless effort to make the movie a success, including director Chandoo Mondeti, producer Bunny Vyas, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, and particularly Sai Pallavi, his co-star.

Instead, he didn’t forget to acknowledge his daughter-in-law, Sobhita Dhulipala, who attended the event as well. Nagarjuna emphasized that his son’s wedding with the actress was also a significant factor contributing to the movie’s triumph.

Speaking to Chay on stage, Naga Chaitanya commented, “Your marriage to Sobhita adds another layer of significance! Sobhita has always been extraordinary!” He also praised, “The way you’ve supported Chaitanya in bringing out his acting talent is simply remarkable.

Afterward, the actor from Bangarraju shared that he felt immensely joyful when he noticed his son smiling. Additionally, he mentioned that as he watched Thandel, he detected a few similarities to his father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, in Chay.

In my own words, “I’m absolutely thrilled for Chaitanya! His joy is contagious, just look at that smile on his face! He truly embodied the character throughout the movie, and there were numerous instances where he truly shone. Watching him, I was reminded of the exceptional performances I’ve seen my father give in films over the years.
