Naga Chaitanya shares moments that ‘will always keep’ him smiling from Thandel sets; see BTS photos

Naga Chaitanya‘s survival drama Thandel sparked a lot of excitement at the cinema. The movie touched many hearts and was favorably received by viewers. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and featuring Sai Pallavi, this film has now been released on OTT platforms as well.

Now, even with all the great achievements headed his way, Naga Chaitanya offered a peek at some unreleased backstage moments from the Thandel film set.

He personally secured the ship’s mast, ventured on a ferry journey with the team, and had an impromptu interaction with Sai Pallavi – these were among the precious instances immortalized in photographs.

Additionally, Chay wrote a message saying, “Moments… #Thandel… will continue to bring smiles to my face :)”. This conveys the same meaning as your original sentence but in a slightly different and more conversational tone.

Meanwhile, Bunny Vas, the movie’s creator, has shared insights about his anti-piracy press conference inadvertently causing harm to the production team itself.

According to Aakashavani’s report, the producer clarified that the press conference took place even as Thandel was still playing in cinemas.

Discussing the unauthorized copies of the movie unexpectedly made people more aware of the issue, which led to these pirated versions spreading rapidly online.

Returning to the movie’s narrative, it draws inspiration from the true tale of fisherman Chodipilli Musalayya. He served several years behind bars following an unintentional voyage into Pakistani territorial waters while on a regular fishing expedition.

On March 7, 2024, the movie had a successful theatrical release, consistently drawing large crowds for the following 20 days. The earnings from the ticket sales of this Naga Chaitanya-led film have been exceptionally high.

The movie will debut on Netflix a month from now, specifically on April 7, 2025, when it comes to its OTT (Over-The-Top) release.

You can enjoy streaming it in various languages such as Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and the original Telugu version.
