For those not familiar, Godhuma Raayi or Pasupu Danchatam is a traditional practice in Telugu weddings that marks the beginning of wedding celebrations for both the bride, groom, and their respective families. This ritual is primarily conducted by the women in the family, with the bride as the focus. It usually occurs after the engagement ceremony.
