Starting February 10, 2025, the movie ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ featuring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi will be available for streaming on SimplySouth. The OTT giant recently announced this news on their platform (previously known as Twitter). Unfortunately, viewers in India won’t be able to watch it.

The streaming service wrote, “Spreading the word, here’s what they penned: ‘Raghul Thatha: I’m Rowdy too!’. Watch the hit comedy-drama #NaanumRowdyDhaan, now available globally on Simply South (except India)!

In simpler terms, the movie “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan” tells an extraordinary love story between a street-tough guy named Pandi and a hearing-impaired girl called Kadhu. But their relationship takes an unexpected twist when Kadhu asks for Pandi’s help in tracking down her missing father.

In a shocking turn of events, Pandi finds out that the ruthless gangster Killi was responsible for Kadhu’s father’s death, on the very first night when they crossed paths. Despite Pandi’s attempts to conceal this information from Kadhu, she manages to uncover the truth and swiftly resolves to take revenge against Killi.

Here’s what transpires next: Pandi and his group were planning to carry out Kadhu’s wish of eliminating Killi. However, a rival politician decided to hold a political rally on that exact day, causing Pandi’s team to abandon their scheme at the last minute. Undeterred, Kadhu resolved to confront the antagonist independently.

Sadly, she’s immediately defeated by Killi with a single strike, and it’s Pandi who steps in to save her. Meanwhile, Killi is later assassinated by his political rival, but instead of admitting defeat, he falsely claims victory over the previous one to win favor from Kadhu.
