My Sweet Mobster Episode 12 Recap & Spoilers

As a devoted fan of My Sweet Mobster, I was absolutely thrilled to witness the intensity and emotional depth that unfolded in episode 12. The way Seo Ji-Hwan’s past came to light and how Go Eun-Ha responded with understanding left me in awe.

I was thrilled to watch Episode 12 of “My Sweet Mobster” last Thursday, July 18, 2024, on JTBC and Viki. In this episode, Seo Ji-Hwan, played by Uhm Tae-Goo, fiercely confronted Go Yang-Hee, portrayed by Im Chul-Soo, for paying a visit to Go Eun-Ha, who is brilliantly acted by Han Sun-Hwa. Moreover, we got to see Ji-Hwan and Eun-Ha enjoying some precious moments alone at home as the rest of Seo Ji-Hwan’s company granted them privacy.

In episode 12 of “My Sweet Mobster,” Eun-Ha inspires Ji-Hwan’s crew to put on a show for the children at an orphanage, bringing joy to both the performers and the kids. Meanwhile, Ji-Hwan shares his painful past with Go Eun-Ha, who empathizes deeply. The episode concludes with a surprising revelation: Seo Tae-Pyeong, the Cat Company mafia boss and Ji-Hwan’s long-lost father, discovers Go Eun-Ha’s identity.

In Episode 12 of My Sweet Mobster, prosecutor Jang Hyun-Woo (played by Kwon Yul) starts the episode in a hurry, heading to his office. Upon arrival, he learns that he’s been taken off the Cat Company case involving illicit substances. Infuriated by this news, he causes a commotion at the upscale restaurant owned by the Cat Company. During this chaos, he spots Go Yang-Hee (Im Chul-Soo) watching a video of Go Eun-Ha. Consequently, Jang Hyun-Woo loses control and assaults Yang-Hee.

Seo Ji-Hwan (played by Uhm Tae-Goo) advises Go Yang-Hee to keep her distance from Go Eun-Ha (acted by Han Sun-Hwa) in the subsequent part of the episode. Witnessing Ji-Hwan’s furious state leaves Eun-Ha feeling distressed. Later, he expresses regret and explains the cause of his previous actions. Eventually, they have some private time at the house, but their interactions remain somewhat uneasy due to their shy personalities.

I, Joo Il-Young (Kim Hyun-Jin), return to Ku Mi-Ho’s (Moon Ji-In) home, bearing costly presents for her and her family. I go the extra mile by gifting her mother a new car. Yet, when Ku Mi-Ho requests that I cease these actions, I persist, explaining to her that I won’t relent until she reunites with me.

At a later point in the story, Eun-Ha joins Seo Ji-Hwan and his bandmates at an orphanage fundraiser to make donations. Upon their arrival, she proposes that they put on a performance for the children. This idea brings immense joy to everyone, leading them to spend hours engaging in activities with the kids and assisting the orphanage staff with tasks like laundry and other chores.

In episode 12 of My Sweet Mobster, after arriving at the orphanage, Seo Ji-Hwan (played by Uhm Tae-Goo) is touched by Eun-Ha’s joyful demeanor. They engage in a heartfelt talk, during which Seo Ji-Hwan feels compelled to share his painful history. He confides in Go Eun-Ha about his father’s involvement in the mafia, his engagement in criminal activities, and the sad fate of his mother.

He’s long been apprehensive about how Eun-Ha would respond upon revealing his past. But discovering that her feelings towards him remain unchanged brings him a sense of ease. Eun-Ha has accepted not only who he is now, but also his history.

Upon coming back from the orphanage, Ji-Hwan’s team members delighted in viewing their showcased video during the sponsorship gathering. Ji-Hwan took pride in Eun-Ha’s accomplishments and expressed his affection by giving her a tender kiss.

Near the close of episode 12 in My Sweet Mobster, the audience observes Seo Ji-Hwan’s estranged father and the mafia chief examining photographs. These images depict Ji-Hwan living a contented life, along with Go Eun-Ha. The father harbors strong disdain upon witnessing this scene, particularly when he sees Ji-Hwan in the company of a woman. It appears that he is now devising a plan to disrupt Ji-Hwan’s peaceful existence.

Towards the close of the episode, Go Eun-Ha drops by Ji-Hwan’s workplace for a visit. At this point, Ji-Hwan becomes aware that something sinister is imminent upon reading a comment on a video. Without warning, a man shoves Go Eun-Ha and assaults their colleague, Lee Dong-Hee, in full view of everyone. Ji-Hwan rushes to shield Eun-Ha from harm and challenges the assailant. The episode concludes with this dramatic turn of events, leaving viewers on tenterhooks.
