As a dedicated fan who’s been following the Walter Boy’s saga since its inception, I can hardly contain my excitement! The news that production for season 2 has started is like hearing the sweetest symphony after a long, arduous winter. It’s akin to finding a hidden stash of maple syrup when you thought your supply had run dry – pure, unadulterated joy!

Whereabouts can I find the enthusiasts of the TV show “My Life with the Walter Boys“? Prepare for a surge of excitement because we have some fantastic news! Production has commenced on the eagerly awaited second season, bringing us one step closer to watching Jackie, Cole, Alex, and the rest of our beloved characters once again grace our TV screens.

As a gaming enthusiast who’s also a fan of “My Life with the Walter Boys”, I’ve been hearing whispers about various release schedules for season 2. At first, there were murmurs that filming would kick off in mid-May 2024. Then, I heard rumblings that production might be delayed until July. But here’s the exciting part – I just got confirmation that the cast and crew have commenced shooting season 2 right now in Calgary, Canada! Netflix made this fantastic announcement through its official X account. Alongside the news, they shared a cool snapshot featuring Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie, Noah LaLonde as Cole, and Ashby Gentry as Alex. You can check it out below!

Shortly following the announcement that filming started, Gentry swiftly informed his 560k Instagram followers about it through an Instagram story. The story contained a picture of Gentry along with several of his co-stars from the show “My Life with the Walter Boys“. A caption above the photo read, “Great to be back [heart emoji].”

Melanie Halsall, creator of the popular teen drama series, is taking charge again for season 2, with Ed Glauser continuing his role as a top-level producer. Jason Priestley, who helmed several episodes in the first season, will be back to direct numerous episodes in season 2 and also produce. Furthermore, Becky Hartman Edwards, known for her work on “Firefly Lane” and “The Bold Type,” has joined the team as an executive producer for season 2.

For the cast of “My Life with the Walter Boys” season 2, Rodriguez, LaLonde, Gentry, Sarah Rafferty, Marc Blucas, Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Corey Fogelmanis, and Jaylan Evans are all set to reprise their roles as series regulars. Zoë Soul, who previously played Hayley as a series regular in season 1, will return for season 2 with a recurring role instead.

For the upcoming season 2, we have some new additions to our regular lineup: Isaac Arellanes, Myles Perez, Alex Quijano, Ashley Tavares, Dean Petriw, Alix West Lefler, Lennix James, Alisha Newton, Ellie O’Brien, Kolton Stewart, Mya Lowe, Gabrielle Jacinto, Jesse Lipscombe, and Nathaniel Arcand.

The final episode of the first season saw Jackie giving Cole a goodbye kiss as she departed Silver Falls, accompanied by her uncle, en route back to New York for the summer.
