As a die-hard fan of My Hero Academia, who has followed this extraordinary series since its inception, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming spin-off titled “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.” The fact that it’s being set five years before the original storyline makes it even more intriguing.
Toho Animation has shared that a new series titled “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” will debut as the first spin-off from the popular anime. This series is adapted from the manga created by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court, and it unfolds five years before the storyline of Kōhei Horikoshi’s original manga series.
In a world filled with individuals gifted with extraordinary powers, I find myself immersed in an anime where these heroes, having undergone rigorous training and licensing, stand as the public’s guardians against sinister villains. The story revolves around me, Koichi Haimawari, a regular guy who uses his unique abilities to help those in need, even though I haven’t been officially licensed as a hero myself.
When is the Vigilantes anime release date?
In Japan, starting around April 2025, the animated series “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” will make its debut. This spin-off production is being handled by the renowned Japanese animation studio Bones Inc. At this moment, specifics about the cast and crew are kept confidential. Additionally, it’s anticipated that the eighth and final season of “My Hero Academia” will be available in Fall 2025.
In a world where everyone’s born with unique abilities known as quirks, I find myself devoid of any, yet determined. That is until I cross paths with the legendary hero, All Might, who sees potential in me and chooses me to inherit his formidable power, One-For-All. My tale unfolds as I strive to live up to this immense responsibility, all while battling malevolent forces like the League of Villains and All-For-One, the sworn enemy of my mentor. This is my journey to become the number one hero.
In My Hero Academia, you’ll hear Daiki Yamashita as Deku, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Bakugo/Dynamight, Yuki Kaji as Shoto Todoroki, Ayane Sakura as Uravity, Kaito Ishikawa as Ingenium, Marina Inoue as Creati, Toshiki Masuda as Red Riot, Eri Kitamura as Pinky, Aoi Yūki as Froppy, Ryō Hirohashi as Grape Juice, Tasuku Hatanaka as Chargebolt, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Tsukuyomi, Kei Shindō as Earphone Jack, Kiyotaka Furushima as Cellophane, Kenta Miyake as All Might, Tetsu Inada as Endeavor, and many others lending their voices to the characters.
