As a dedicated fan of Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga, I have been eagerly awaiting the final chapters with bated breath. The way Horikoshi has given each character a satisfying conclusion is truly commendable. Among the many characters, Aoyama’s ending left me with mixed feelings.
In the final stages of Kohei Horikoshi’s “My Hero Academia” manga, there are fewer than five chapters remaining. The mangaka is making good use of this limited space by ensuring each character receives a fitting conclusion. Though some characters may enjoy particularly positive outcomes, every character’s story comes to a satisfying end. With so many intriguing characters, fans have been especially eager to discover what becomes of Aoyama. Despite his significant role in the war, Aoyaka remains known as the U.A. traitor.
My Hero Academia: Aoyama’s ending explained
In a more relaxed and clear expression: Aoyama was presented as one of the unusual and joyful characters in the show. He was born without a quirk, but AFO granted him one in return for his and his family’s allegiance. Yet, it wasn’t until My Hero Academia chapter 337 that we discovered Aoyama and his parents had been secretly working for All For One.
In Class 1-A, the news spread fear among students, but Deku chose to forgive his classmate, believing in their potential to be heroes. It was thanks to Aizawa’s guidance that Aoyama shone, contributing significantly to the heroes’ success in catching AFO off guard. The conclusion of the war marked a fresh start for the cheerful Hero.
After the war ended, I, Aoyama, realized that I didn’t feel deserving of graduating with my U.A. classmates. Since AFO had joined against my will, I felt it was unfair to graduate alongside them. But I swore to continue my hero journey and make amends for my past mistakes. Before leaving, I wanted to lift the spirits of my friends by putting on a spectacular laser show for them. My departure allowed Shinsoo to transfer in, bringing new energy to the class. Although it was sad to see me go, my departure opened up exciting possibilities not just for me, but also for my former classmates.
