My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 4 recap
In this episode, we meet the school’s student council: Nekoyamada as vice president, Tanukikaji as secretary, and Tsubemeya as accountant. All of them are under the leadership of Koshi Torako, the student council president. Koshi strives to maintain harmony within their group. Yet, it comes to light that Nekoyamada harbors intentions to usurp her position and dissolve the deer club, which Koshi is part of.
In a tricky situation, Tanukikaji’s timidity causes Koshi discomfort, yet she finds a way to soothe him. On the other hand, Tsubemeya’s frosty reactions make Koshi uncomfortable. The following day, an unexpected encounter with Tsubemeya at the deer club leaves Koshi in a state of worry, fearing her secret might be exposed.
Nokotan attempts to share information on club activities with her, but instead shows a video of Koshi serenading a deer. Afterward, he gifts her some deer snacks, which astonishes Koshi as she seems delighted by it. Despite trying to charm Tsubemeya, Koshi’s efforts fall flat. Eventually, Koshi elects to lend a hand to Tanukikaji in organizing supplies within the gym.
Despite accidentally getting locked in, Tanukikaji becomes frightened, her mind racing with possibilities. Koshi tries to soothe her, but it’s a struggle. Suddenly, Nokotan appears, explaining she just wanted to inspect her mushrooms. The story concludes with Tanukikaji and Tsubemeya joining the other deer club members for dinner.
