My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 3 recap
The episode begins with Koshi walking into the clubroom and coming across a real deer instead of the expected members. Initially startled, she supposes this could be Nokotan playing a prank. Trying to touch its fur for confirmation, she’s abruptly pushed out by the animal instead.
In the room again, she attempts to make Nokotan unmask by employing quirky tactics, including reading from an awkward poetry book. Yet, these efforts fail to yield results. Suddenly, Nokotan materializes behind her, explaining that a deer had managed to escape from the zoo instead.
In the afternoon, Koshi addresses the new first-year students, including her sibling Anko. Subsequently, she accompanies Nokotan to their clubroom. There, they discover a girl who has collapsed. The girl regains consciousness and introduces herself as Bashame. She expresses admiration for Nokotan and requests to learn from her.
Upon entering the clubroom, Anko finds Bashame deep in conversation with Koshi, which instantly infuriates her. However, Koshi successfully defuses the situation, allowing them to focus on their objectives for the deer club. The scene concludes with a trio of students surreptitiously observing the activities of the deer club.
