Without a doubt, Anaswara Rajan is rapidly rising as one of the most prolific actresses in the Malayalam film industry. Already in the first two months of 2025, she has starred in three films and plans to continue with even more roles in the coming months.
Lately, Deepu Karunakaran, a filmmaker who collaborated with Anaswara Rajan in Mr & Mrs Bachelor, shared that she has been hesitant to participate in the movie’s subsequent productions. In an interview with Mathrubhumi, he disclosed that initially, the young actress was very helpful during the filming process, but her behavior shifted when it came time for promotions.

He shared that the movie’s soundtrack was sold for 10 lakhs, and the emphasis is squarely on social media marketing. Actors have been asked to flaunt promo posts on their Instagram once the tunes drop, but it seems our lovely actress isn’t quite ready yet. Interestingly, four tracks from the film have already been unveiled, but there’s been a noticeable lack of major Instagram promotion for them so far.
The director noted that although the young actress frequently posts about various projects on her own Instagram, it was puzzling to him why she hadn’t publicized this specific film. Furthermore, he disclosed that the tune was posted to the actress’s Facebook page via an account managed by her supporters.
Deepu Karunakaran went on to explain that he had attempted to sort out the problem by contacting the actress’ mother and manager numerous times, yet these efforts were unsuccessful. Eventually, it was disclosed that Indrajith Sukumaran, who stars in Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor, directly reached out to the actress. However, reports suggest that the actress ended the call abruptly.
The movie titled “Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor” is known for its romantic comedy genre, starring Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan as the main characters. Alongside them, Gibin Gopinath, Dayyana Hameed, Rosin Jolly, Rahul Madhav, and others play significant roles in this production.
The movie was written by Arjun T. Sathyan. Pradeep Nair and Sobin K. Soman handled the cinematography and editing, respectively. Originally slated for a release in August of last year, it had to be delayed due to unknown circumstances. The director has shared that they will announce the movie’s official release date sometime this year.
