They’ve released the formal preview titled “Eye for an Eye” for the forthcoming supernatural horror-thriller. This film will first appear in selected cinemas on June 20, with a digital release to follow.

Who is in the Eye for an Eye trailer?

The video showcases Whitney Peak, who plays the teenager character in Hocus Pocus 2, finding herself under a curse set by Mr. Sandman following her failure to intervene as other teens mercilessly bully a boy until he loses his arms. Additionally, the trailer highlights S. Epatha Merkerson from Chicago Med, Golda Rosheuvel known for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Finn Bennett of True Detective: Night Country, and Laken Giles from Legacies.

Eye for an Eye,” a film directed by Colin Tilley from a screenplay penned by Elisa Victoria and Michael Tully, is based on Victoria’s graphic novel, Mr. Sandman. This marks Tilley’s first full-length directorial project. The production is overseen by executive producers David Darby, Lauren Shelton, Victoria, Susan Kirr, and Bill Tagliaferri, while Tim Headington, Theresa Steele Page, Rachael Fung, and Nate Kamiya serve as the film’s producers.

As a fan, I found myself drawn into the story of Anna, a young woman reeling from the shocking loss of her parents. After years in bustling New York, she finds herself in a small town in Florida, seeking solace with a grandmother she’s never met. The unfamiliar surroundings and loneliness leave her vulnerable, but it’s the company of local teens that helps ease her isolation.
