Fashion influencer Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi has partnered with Rizzoli for a fresh new book, titled “Poggy Style: Dressing For Work And Play.” This men’s fashion guide is centered on the harmonious blend of Japanese concepts hare and ke, which refer to celebratory and everyday life respectively.
The book is influenced by Poggy’s unique fashion style, developed over more than two decades, which combines traditional Western clothing with Japanese streetwear in a way that’s distinctly his own. Frequently spotted in an eclectic mix of items such as hoodies, tweed jackets, sneakers, and a broad-brimmed hat, this style has landed him collaborations with diverse industries, even Porsche.
In his Instagram post, Poggy elaborated on the upcoming release: “Flipping through the pages of this book, I’m amazed by the diverse assortment of clothes I’ve amassed over time – from established brands with rich histories, to streetwear labels, emerging designers, vintage finds from past decades, and items that showcase my hobbies.” He went on to say: “By embracing and appreciating different cultures, I’ve explored their backgrounds to some extent and blended them together in my unique style.
Poggy Style: Dressing For Work And Play is out on March 18, via Rizzoli and select retailers.
