In simple terms, it’s been confirmed that the game developer NetherRealm Studios is adding Conan the Barbarian to the lineup of characters in Mortal Kombat 1, which will happen on January 21, 2025.
Ed Boon, the studio head, recently unveiled a short teaser for Conan the Barbarian’s debut in Mortal Kombat 1, scheduled for January 2025. The trailer showcases some of his combat skills, such as wielding his sword to slice and toss opponents, and an intriguing ability that enables him to redirect a projectile towards his foes.

Based on past trends from NetherRealm, we might get a detailed look at how Conan will play in the game before he joins next month. It’s also intriguing to mention that although Arnold Schwarzenegger is well-known for embodying Conan on screen, the voice actor behind the character in Mortal Kombat 1 hasn’t been revealed yet.
On January 21, 2025, Conan the Barbarian will debut as an early access character in Mortal Kombat 1. He’ll be joining the roster as part of Year 2’s DLC, following the recent introduction of Ghostface.
