This trophy requires you to gather ten distinct Rarity 6 special items. To help you out, this guide offers information on all Rarity 6 Special Items needed (with an added bonus), their locations, farming methods, and more. Keep in mind that there will be some endgame location spoilers, but no story spoilers. This achievement is typically something to tackle after completing the story, so tread with caution!

To earn the Explorer of the Eastlands trophy, you require six rare items marked as Rarity 6 from this list: Great Windward Aloe, Thundering Fulgurite, Eternal Scarlet Amber, Queensbloom Pollen, Bulky Treasure, Antimite Mass, Large Goldenscale Vase, Time-honed Wylk Gem, Nightflower Pollen, Genesis Opal, and Wyvernsprout. In total, you need any ten items from this selection.
How to check which Rarity 6 items you already have in Monster Hunter Wilds
Here’s a more conversational way of explaining it:
“To proceed, step into your tent and take a peek at your inventory by choosing ‘View/Sell Items’. Alternatively, you can chat with the Provisions Stockpile, pick ‘Sell’, followed by ‘Item Box’. Once there, navigate to the last tab and browse through your items just as the image below demonstrates.
How to get the Rarity 6 Special Items in Monster Hunter Wilds
As a savvy gamer, here’s one approach to snag those elusive Rarity 6 Special Items:
1. The patient path: immerse yourself in exploration and keep your eyes peeled for these rare treasures as you journey through the game world. Be mindful of environment notifications on the right side of the screen, they often signal an “Emergence” – a hint towards the items you seek. For more specific details, check out the rest of this guide.
2. The strategic route: instead of leaving things to chance, actively seek out these precious items. Keep your wits about you and stay alert for any signs or indications that could lead you to an “Emergence.” Remember, patience is key – these Rarity 6 Special Items don’t come easy!
3. The bonus method: some games offer bonuses or rewards for completing certain quests or challenges. Make sure to keep an eye out for those opportunities, as they can sometimes lead you directly to the Rarity 6 Special Items you’re after.
1. First, open the map.
2. Next, press the top face button (either Triangle or Y, depending on your controller).
3. Then, move your cursor over each location.
4. Lastly, hit the right shoulder button (R1 or RB) twice. This will display the weather forecast for that specific spot along with the time remaining for any events taking place there.
How to spot Emergences for Rarity 6 Special Items in Monster Hunter Wilds
In my upcoming predictions for the Wyveria Ruins, you’ll witness an Awe-inspiring Fossil Emergence within the next 10 minutes (real time). When such events occur, it’s advisable to stay put and observe, then gather the Rare Item that appears. I opted not to engage in quests due to the risk of altering the forecast. Even switching lobbies can affect the forecast. I chose to wait patiently for 40 minutes on one occasion to avoid missing out, which admittedly made the experience less exciting, but I managed to collect nearly all 10 items in a single session after taking breaks and rechecking the forecast in each map.
In this guide, you’ll discover methods to advance and reinitialize certain aspects, but be aware that there’s one particular feature – the Nightflower Pollen – may not function properly when playing offline. I’ll elaborate on that topic in a later section of the guide. Now, let’s delve into the 11 potential Rarity 6 special items for Eastlands Explorers (aim for 10 out of 11). For some of these items, I’ll provide specific tips, and more information as well:

The game’s description for the Antimite Mass reads: A colossal cluster of antimites that creates unpredictable responses unknown to current scientific knowledge. What is the Time-honed Wylk Gem in Monster Hunter Wilds
The description for the Time-Aged Wylk Gem in the game says that it is a unique item from the East, formed over countless ages through a natural process. It can be sold for 500z, but I advise against it. You might be able to trade it using the Item Trade feature at various locations or with Nata. Monster Hunter Wilds Nightflower Pollen guide
In this part, we’ll discuss the locations of Nightflower Pollen in Monster Hunter Wilds, key details to notice, its purposes, and additional information.
What is the Nightflower Pollen in Monster Hunter Wilds
In this game, Nightflower Pollen is a unique item that comes from a moonlit blooming flower with an ethereal pale glow. Instead of selling it for 800z, consider using the Item Trade option found at various spots or with Nata. The trade offers can change, so it’s wise to check back with Nata frequently to see if there’s something valuable you might want in exchange, beyond food ingredients which are useful but not as vital as other rare items. I personally used these for Gold melding and relic tickets.
Instead of other items in the guide, the Nightflower Pollen has an additional condition: it needs a specific moon phase to gather. Gathering it offline could pose challenges as you won’t be able to reset or work towards this requirement easily. However, when I played online using Singleplayer or a lobby, I posted the quest titled “A Leviathan’s Temper” which is optional and tempered Balahara. This quest will spawn you at the right time of day to collect Nightflower Pollen. If you are in Area 10 (I suggest setting up your camp here), look to your right and hop on your Seikret and ride towards the Ephemeral Blossom gathering point. If you don’t see this point, it might be necessary to rest for the moon phase to change.
Instead of persistently attempting to alter the moon’s phase on your own or waiting indefinitely for it to change, I suggest posting the Nightflower quest and proceeding to the specified location. Wait approximately a minute there for the Nightflower to bloom. Once it has bloomed, gather the Nightflower Pollen and employ the “Return from Quest” feature. Repeat this process by re-posting the quest and continue farming the Nightflower Pollen so you can trade them in for valuable items.
If you’re experiencing difficulties with the moon phase in the game, I suggest you save your progress and exit the game. After that, you can either re-enter the game or switch to a different lobby and attempt the quest once more. This method seemed to work best for me, and I managed to complete over 30 of these tasks during two farming sessions.

Monster Hunter Wilds Genesis Opal guide
In this part, we’ll discuss the location of the Genesis Opal in Monster Hunter Wilds, important details to note when searching for it, its purpose, and additional information.
What is the Genesis Opal in Monster Hunter Wilds
The Genesis Opal in the game is described as an opal embedded within a fossil, emitting a fire reminiscent of the primordial flame that molded the world during its creation. You have the option to sell it for 500z, but I advise against it. Instead, consider trading this valuable item using the Trade Items feature. This can be done at various locations or with Nata, who may offer diverse trade deals. It’s worth visiting Nata frequently as the offers can change, and you might find something desirable in exchange that surpasses the value of food ingredients, which are useful but not as critical as other rare items.
Monster Hunter Wilds Genesis Opal location
In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can collect the rare Genesis Opal from a unique location within the Oilwell Basin – specifically, from a special node or spot. This opal only becomes available during an exceptional event known as a Magnificent Fossil Emergence. During this emergence, you can gather the Genesis Opal directly from the Magnificent Fossil that appears. It’s worth noting that I managed to obtain it during the nighttime, but it may also appear at other times. To increase your chances of finding it, keep an eye on the forecast and stay alert for these emergence events.
As a devoted player, I’d guide you to consult your map and swiftly teleport to the second herb marker using the fast travel option. From there, you can navigate through the list to locate the unique gathering spot where my Seikret will whisk you away.

Monster Hunter Wilds Wyvernsprout guide
In this part, we’ll explore the location of the Wyvernsprout within Monster Hunter Wilds, provide tips on identifying it, discuss its purpose, and delve into additional details.
What is the Wyvernsprout in Monster Hunter Wilds
The Wyvernsprout is a unique fungus that thrives on deceased creatures. It’s considered a valuable emblem of resurrection and you can trade it for 800z.
Monster Hunter Wilds Wyvernsprout location
In Monster Hunter Wilds, unlike other Rarity 6 Special Items that can be obtained from plants or specific spots, the Wyvernsprout is harvested from a particular type of carcass. However, it’s not easily found as I only managed to get a few after killing small monsters for around a dozen hours. Here’s a tip to find the Wyvernsprout: Mark the Talioth (small monster) on your map in the Windward Plains and then hunt down and kill four or five of them.

After completing that task, give it about five minutes or so in real-time. In some of the remains, you might find one covered in a fluffy, white substance with roots sprouting from it – these are called Carrion Mushrooms. You can harvest these for a Wyvernsprout, but since they’re quite rare to find in this state, you may need to kill smaller creatures and reset a few times to get the Wyvernsprout. Good luck!
