In a remarkable feat, Monster Hunter Wilds surpassed eight million copies sold within merely three days, breaking Capcom’s previous sales record. Evidence of its extraordinary success can be traced as far back as its launch day, with over 1.3 million Steam users playing the game exclusively on PC.
For Monster Hunter Wilds, players can anticipate temporary special event quests and future post-release content updates. The April update is set to reintroduce the returning monster Mizutsune as well as fresh event quests. Later in summer 2025, another update will debut a new beast and additional event quests.
The action-adventure game titled ‘Monster Hunter Rise’ is now playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Game reviewer Final Weapon awarded it a 4/5 rating, praising it as an outstanding addition to the established series and a worthy sequel to Capcom’s all-time best-selling game. Although there have been some technical hiccups, Capcom has created one of the most satisfying combat mechanics in ‘Monster Hunter Rise’, along with the franchise’s inaugural narrative mode.
Further, the collaboration between Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Wilds is extending until March 31st. During this period, the Chatacabra from Monster Hunter Wilds will show up in desert regions following the completion of a special Urgent Quest. Rewards for participating include a unique Seikret Rider layered outfit, Weapon Refining Materials, Armor Refining Materials, and Zenny.
