Enthusiasts of Monster Hunter who have been eagerly waiting to explore what Wilds has to offer will soon have their opportunity approaching rapidly. Capcom has unveiled plans for an open beta test for Monster Hunter Rise, which will occur in two stages. Initially, the test will be exclusive to PS5 users for approximately three days. Capcom recently revealed the specifics of the upcoming open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds in their latest trailer. Most of the footage displayed the new Oilwell Basin region and the beasts we’ll be pursuing there. Moreover, it was disclosed that the open beta will become accessible to PlayStation 5 users on October 28, 2024, at 8 p.m. Pacific Time. The beta will continue until October 30 at 8 p.m. Pacific Time. Subsequently, on Halloween, the beta will expand to additional platforms, enabling crossplay among PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC gamers. This crossplay beta will run from October 31 at 8 p.m. Pacific Time to November 3 at 7 p.m. Pacific Time.
In this beta version, every gamer across all platforms can participate, irrespective if they have PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass Core, or Ultimate. This is a significant test ground for Capcom, aiming to tackle some crossplay features ahead of time. They’re inviting many players to help push the systems to their limits. As a thank you for your participation, you’ll receive a Stuffed Felyne Teddy Pendant, and this beta also offers one of the earliest chances to play the game in public.
