Interestingly, there are six possible moon phases in the game, and they follow a sequence. Here it goes: First Quarter, Growing Crescent (Waxing Gibbous), Full Moon, Decreasing Crescent (Waning Gibbous), Last Quarter, and Finally, Waning Crescent. These phases change order day by day within the game world.

The challenge lies in the fact that the game doesn’t provide any clues about the current or upcoming moon phases through its menus or user interface. This implies that players must advance the phases themselves and then check the real sky for updates. Notably, resting at a camp advances the phase by one each time, so they need to remember this whenever they wish to move forward.
