Among all the productions, Mohanlal’s initial release marks his directorial debut titled “Barroz”. This children’s fantasy film presents Mohanlal as a spiritual protector, promising to guide us through an immersive story visually. The movie revolves around the legendary treasure of Vasco Da Gama, safeguarded by the spirit guardian for 400 years before being passed on to a direct descendant.
Due to Mohanlal taking on the main character, the movie’s production had faced delays for an extended period, with numerous release dates being pushed back. The film also boasts notable performances from actors such as Maya, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Tuhin Menon, and Guru Somasundaram in key roles.

Following this, Mohanlal will star in director Tharun Moorthy’s movie titled ‘Thudarum’. This upcoming film, categorized as a drama, portrays Mohanlal as a taxi driver battling generalized anxiety disorder.
Besides Mohanlal, the film features key performances by Shobana, Fahadh Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Nandhu, and others in significant roles.

In the eagerly anticipated next chapter of the Lucifer series titled L2: Empuraan, Mohanlal will make an appearance. This film, helmed by director Prithviraj Sukumaran, is rumored to bridge both sequel and prequel aspects to the initial release, further unfolding the storyline of Khureshi-Ab’raam.
In addition to being an action-packed thriller, this movie features a talented group of actors including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, and Baiju Santhosh, who are all returning from the first installment.

Additionally, Mohanlal will team up with esteemed director Sathyan Anthikad once more for a movie named Hridayapoorvam. This film signifies their reunion following their last project together in 2015, Ennum Eppozhum, which also featured Manju Warrier as a co-star.
In conclusion, the last film added to the collection will be “Vrushabha,” a creation by director Nanda Kishore. This Telugu-Malayalam production is reportedly an action-rich historical movie that revolves around the story of two ancient adversaries who find themselves as father and son in the modern era, having been reborn in the present day.
