Previously, some sources stated that the Telangana High Court denied Mohan Babu’s request for anticipatory bail in connection with the same case. However, his latest statement appears to be an explanation concerning this issue.

A day prior, on December 13, Mohan Babu made a second statement defending his actions against the journalist, which he carried out in response to a provocation. He detailed the events that had transpired quickly, asserting that his reactions were impulsive and occurred during a tense situation.

During a tense incident, when my gate was smashed and around 30-50 unruly people stormed into my home with the goal of causing harm, I became overwhelmed. In the ensuing confusion, the media unfortunately found themselves caught up in the situation.

Contrarily, Manoj Manchu released a statement explaining that reports suggesting he physically harmed individuals and created disturbances while intoxicated near Mohan Babu’s home were unfounded.

He added that rumors about him being inebriated were fabricated by his brother Vinay. He further stated that his actions in self-defense were misinterpreted as a physical scuffle.
