MobLand Paramount+ Release Date Announced for Tom Hardy & Pierce Brosnan TV Show

A premiere date for Guy Ritchie’s new series MobLand has been set.

Originally scheduled for its debut on Showtime, the new drama series titled MobLand has been re-routed and will now stream exclusively on Paramount+.

Initially conceived as a spin-off titled “The Donovans,” based on Ray Donovan, the series underwent changes and eventually evolved into a standalone production, severing any ties with the original series, Ray Donovan. (The Hollywood Reporter reports this development.)

When is the release date for the MobLand series with Tom Hardy & Pierce Brosnan?

On March 30, 2025, MobLand is set to debut on Paramount+. This premiere will happen simultaneously in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia. As the year unfolds, it will become available in other regions worldwide.

The story primarily revolves around an Irish crime clan settled in London, where Brosnan embodies Conrad Harrigan, the clan’s leader, and Mirren brings Maeve, his wife, to life. Simultaneously, Hardy portrays Harry Da Souza, a character who serves as the family’s problem solver.

Ritchie works as an executive producer for the series in collaboration with Hardy, Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, and Bob Yari. This production is brought to you by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

Previously, Chris McCarthy of Paramount Global expressed excitement about having Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren headline a new original global series directed by Guy Richie. According to McCarthy, the trio are experts in their field and it’s an honor to have them on board. He further stated that the combination of Guy Richie, Jez Butterworth, and Ronan Bennett’s creative talents, along with these talented actors, makes for a powerful concoction that could potentially create another iconic series for Showtime on Paramount+.
