Miyamoto won't let Nintendo use AI for creative processes

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming history under my belt, I can’t help but appreciate the unique approach Nintendo continues to take in their game development. While AI has undeniably revolutionized the gaming world, there’s something truly magical about the human touch that Nintendo games have always managed to maintain.

As a devoted admirer, I was thrilled to catch a sneak peek of Shigeru Miyamoto‘s thoughts during a recent interview about the upcoming Nintendo Museum. When questioned regarding Nintendo’s AI strategies for forthcoming titles, his response truly resonated with me.

It’s fascinating to observe how AI is shaping games such as Palworld, and it will certainly be intriguing to notice greater distinctions between AI-driven and traditional games in the times ahead. However, both captivating and concerning, we can count on Nintendo to preserve their commitment to human ingenuity.

What do you think about AI in gaming, are you opposed to its use, or do you see potential there?
