Miss Night and Day Episode 10 Recap & Spoilers

As a passionate fan of “Miss Night and Day,” I have been eagerly following the gripping storyline of this K-drama every week. The latest episode 10 was nothing short of thrilling, keeping me on the edge of my seat with its twists and turns.

In episode 10 of “Miss Night and Day,” which aired on July 14, 2024, on JTBC and Netflix, we see the story of a young woman in her twenties who turns into a 50-year-old during the day. This intriguing K-drama stars Choi Jin-Hyuk, Jung Eun-Ji, and Lee Jung-Eun.

Last time around, I found myself feeling green-eyed over Lee Mi-Jin’s (Eun-Ji) bond with Ko Won (Baek Seo-Hoo). Yet, during my interrogation by the prosecutor, I admitted having harbored feelings for him. To make matters worse, Mi-Jin aided Ji-Ung in gathering proof against hospital director Baek Cheol-Gyu as Im Sun. The episode concluded with a nerve-wracking cliffhanger: Cheol-Gyu scrutinizing the blood test results, labeling one “Im Sun” and the other “a woman of the same name.”

Mi-Jin continues to identify herself as her aunt Im Sun’s name in her current form, causing Cheol-Gyu to believe they are one and the same person. This adds an element of intrigue to the storyline. In episode 10, as Im Sun, Byeong-Deok, and Ji-Ung examine strange occurrences at the hospital, Im Sun grows apprehensive. She recalls Cheol-Gyu’s comparison of their blood test results.

In episode 10 of “Miss Night and Day,” Mi-Jin (Im Sun) ponders why Cheol-Gyu could be connected to her missing aunt. Simultaneously, the hospital director examines the CCTV footage from the previous day and discovers Im Sun entering his office area furtively. With clenched teeth, he queries, “Is it time for us to finally resolve this matter?”

Instead, renowned actor Ko Won aids Im Sun in searching for her missing cat, which could potentially restore Mi-Jin’s tranquil life. However, their efforts prove unsuccessful.

Later, her friend, Ga-Yeong, calls Mi-Jin at night, asking her whereabouts. Ga-Yeong wants to help her and Ji-Ung start a relationship. When she puts Mi-Jin on the speaker in front of Ji-Ung, he hears a man’s voice with Mi-Jin. Furthermore, Ji-Ung cannot sleep at night as he whines while thinking about Mi-Jin with Ko Won. Meanwhile, Ko Won seems to be attracted to Mi-Jin, adding a love triangle to the plot.

Later in the episode, Ji-Ung and Byeong-Deok come across hidden drugs on a mountain. When they encounter difficulties continuing their journey, they reach out to Im Sun for assistance. Impressively, the 50-year-old demonstrates her impressive mountain climbing abilities, astounding Ji-Ung. They successfully locate the drugs and commence their investigation.

As Ko Won undergoes an interview, the question of whether he prefers older women is posed to him. This situation infuriates Byeong-Deok, who harbors suspicions towards Ko Won and Im Sun’s relationship. In truth, Byeong-Deok’s anger is internalized, as he imagines assaulting Ko Won mentally rather than physically. Subsequently, Ko Won encounters Im Sun and experiences joy when she disregards Ji-Ung’s presence.

I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with celebrity figures in my line of work as a prosecutor, but Byeong-Deok took things to a whole new level during our recent encounter at the restaurant. He forced me into a corner, insisting that we share a drink together. In a playful yet irritating manner, he scolded Ko Won for his interest in a 50-year-old lady. It was all very amusing, if not a tad annoying.

In episode 10 of “Miss Night and Day,” the focus is on Ko Won and Ji-ung’s discussion about Mi-jin. Ko Won presses Ji-ung for information regarding his relationship with Mi-jin. He expresses his dislike for getting involved in the middle of two people. Later that night, Ji-ung wavers over contacting her, while Ko Won ponders her emotions towards the situation.

The following day, Im Sun tells Ji-Ung that the drugs discovered at the mountain and those uncovered at the hospital are a match. Meanwhile, ominous messages continue to arrive for Ko Won, potentially connected to Mi-Jin’s hidden past.

Every evening, I find myself making the journey to Mi-Jin’s place, filled with curiosity as to why she hasn’t answered my calls recently. However, my inquiries are met with a terse response that it’s a personal matter of hers. Her words leave me feeling baffled and irritated. She then raises the question of whether I took offense at our last encounter, subtly alluding to our unsuccessful first kiss attempt. When I assure her that no such feelings exist, she poses another question: “Then, is it an issue if I’m seen with Ko Won, be it in public or private settings?” After exchanging a few light-hearted remarks, I depart from her home, only to find myself drawn back moments later.

As Mi-Jin hurries out of her house, rain begins to fall. There, she encounters Ko Won, who urges her to leave her job and collaborate with him instead. When Mi-Jin grows annoyed, Ko Won reveals his feelings for her and expresses concern for her wellbeing. At the same time, Ji-Ung observes them huddled together under an umbrella.
