In an interview with India Today, Anjumm Sharma explained his character’s conclusion in Mirzapur and defended it as fitting. He shared, “I was aware of my character’s fate. I understood that Sharad had to meet this end, and I believe it was justifiable. Mirzapur is renowned for its dramatic twists, and given how my character was crafted, it was a fitting finale.”

He also commented, “I don’t believe it was an unjust act. It provided the most emotional impact in Season 3. You see, I anticipated this outcome, yet intended to evoke sympathy from the viewers during the scene of Sharad’s demise.”
