Miranda Cosgrove, Pierson Fodé Cast in New Netflix Rom-Com The Wrong Paris

As a huge fan of romantic comedies and both Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé, I’m beyond excited to hear that they have been cast in a new Netflix film called “The Wrong Paris.” Cosgrove has always been a favorite of mine since her days as Carly Shay on iCarly, a role that brought her massive success and a dedicated fan base. I can’t wait to see her take on the character Dawn in this new project.

Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé have been chosen to star in a new Netflix romantic comedy titled “The Wrong Paris.” This means that these two actors will be the main faces of this film, which is a comedy with a romantic theme, produced by Netflix, and set in Paris.

Janeen Damian, who previously brought us “Falling for Christmas” (2022) and “Irish Wish” (2024) for Netflix with Lindsay Lohan in the leading roles, is the director of the upcoming film “The Wrong Paris”. In this production, Cosgrove takes on the character of Dawn, while Fodé portrays the role of Trey.

What is The Wrong Paris about?

According to Deadline, the movie focuses on Dawn’s determination to reach France for an extraordinary art event. Desperate, she manages to join a Paris-themed dating program as a contestant – unaware that it was all just a ratings trick by the producers. With her dreams at risk, Dawn must find a means to get eliminated from the show before she can encounter Trey, an appealing and charming bachelor in real life.

Nicole Henrich penned down the film’s script. Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian take on the producer roles, with Janeen Damian, Amanda Phillips, Jimmy Townsend, Kelly Fraizer, and Galen Fletcher acting as executive producers.

Cosgrove gained widespread recognition for portraying Carly Shay in the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly, which aired from 2007 to 2012. The show was subsequently revived on Paramount+ in 2021 and continued for three more seasons.

She is recognized for her role as Megan Parker in Drake & Josh, and her acting credits consist of School of Rock (2003), Yours, Mine & Ours (2005), The Wild Stallion (2009), and Mother of the Bride (2024). Moreover, she provides the voice for Margo in the Despicable Me series.

Fodé appears in various TV shows including Jessie, The Bold and the Beautiful, Dynasty, Animal Kingdom, and Based on a True Story.

A release date for The Wrong Paris has not yet been announced.
