Streamer Rachel Hofstetter, more famously recognized as Valkyrae, has lately shared her thoughts on the brief appearance she had in a movie titled “A Minecraft Movie“.
What did Valkyrae say about being cut from Minecraft?
Valkyrae mentioned that she wouldn’t discuss it extensively, but she did acknowledge that her intended appearance in the film was removed. Although she didn’t specify the reasons for its removal, she suggested that there might have been some production complications causing it to be cut out.
On a recent livestream, Valkyrae mentioned that she didn’t want to discuss the topic too deeply, but if you noticed other creators in the video, her screen time would have been similar, approximately 30 seconds. She’d prefer not to have those 30 seconds than face a lawsuit. So everything is fine now, got it?
Spectators were swift to ponder what Valkyrae might have been referring to when she expressed disinterest in lawsuits. While no official statements have been made, it’s widely assumed that her decision to remove a cameo could be linked to comments she made about actor Jason Momoa the previous year. In September 2024, Valkyrae claimed that she had observed Momoa behaving unfairly towards some of his crew members.
Last year, Valkyrae expressed her disappointment after witnessing an individual behaving harshly towards some of the crew members. She described him as being extremely angry and shouting, which created an unpleasant working atmosphere. In fact, she stated that it was one of the worst experiences she’s had involving celebrities.
Even though she didn’t make it into the final film, Valkyrae stated that her ten-day trip to New Zealand was an absolute blast and that she found the movie enjoyable too.
Valkyrae expressed how the past ten days in New Zealand were absolutely marvelous, even if only for a fleeting moment. She implied that things could’ve taken a turn for the worse, but didn’t elaborate further on her experience.
