Midnight Family Trailer Previews Apple TV+’s Medical Drama

As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours navigating the virtual landscapes of medical dramas and action-packed series, I must say that the trailer for Midnight Family has piqued my interest! The blend of real-life drama, family dynamics, and high-stakes medical emergencies promises an exhilarating ride.

The streaming service, Apple TV+, has unveiled the preview for the forthcoming Spanish medical drama titled “Midnight Family” (Familia de Medianoche). This upcoming production features Diego Calva, known for his roles in Narcos: Mexico and Babylon, as well as Ariel Award laureate Joaquín Cosío.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, I’ll be taking center stage on the streaming titan with a gripping 10-episode medical drama. This series follows a unique family who run their own private ambulance service, dedicating themselves to saving lives each day while battling to save their own. It’s inspired by a critically acclaimed documentary of the same name.

As a devoted admirer, let me share my perspective on “Midnight Family.” This gripping documentary revolves around Marigaby Tamayo, who juggles her days as a dedicated medical student with nights that transform into a thrilling adventure across Mexico City in their family-owned ambulance. Alongside her father Ramón and siblings Marcus and Julito, Marigaby becomes the lifeline for millions by fearlessly navigating through extreme medical crises to earn a living.

Who stars in Midnight Family?

Besides Calva playing Marcus and Cosío portraying Ramón, the series The Midnight Family, produced for Apple TV+ by Fremantle and Fabula, includes Renata Vaca (known from Saw X) as Marigaby Tamayo and Sergio Bautista as Julito. Notably, this upcoming production also has guest appearances by Óscar Jaenada (from Hernán), José María de Tavira (El Candidato), Itzan Escamilla (Élite), Mariana Gómez (The Queen of Flow), Dolores Heredia (Capadocia), and Yalitza Aparicio (Roma).

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share that this exceptional series was masterfully crafted by Julio Rojas and Gibrán Portela for television. The brilliant Natalia Beristáin serves as the showrunner and director, while Juan de Dios Larraín and Pablo Larraín produce it. An impressive lineup of executive producers includes Ángela Poblete, Mariane Hartard, Beristáin herself, Rodrigo Herranz, Christian Vesper, Luke Lorentzen, Kellen Quinn, Josh Braun, and Jonathan Bouzali.

The movie “Midnight Family” makes its premiere on Apple TV+ starting from September 25, releasing two episodes initially. Subsequent episodes will be available every Wednesday until November 20.
