Jorg Neumann, in charge of Microsoft Flight Simulator, verified the partnership during a recent gathering with Shacknews for MSFS 2024. When asked if it’s accurate that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 includes animal models from Planet Zoo, he replied affirmatively. “Indeed, there are animal models,” he said. “I own all the Zoo Tycoon models, and then they added more with Planet Zoo, so I asked if I could have it all.

Previously, Neumann was involved in developing Zoo Tycoon, a game published by Microsoft that laid the groundwork for Planet Zoo. Maintaining a strong bond, Frontier’s team shared their zoo simulator’s animal models and animations to enhance the realism of the animals in Flight Sim, further deepening the connection between these two companies.
