In this article, we will delve into the details of Marcus Jordan’s arrest.
Why was Marcus Jordan arrested?
Reportedly, Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, was apprehended by the Maitland police on February 4, facing several charges such as driving under the influence (DUI), cocaine possession, and resisting arrest, in Florida. The former college basketball player was subsequently detained and lodged in Orange County Jail.
As I recount my recent encounter with the law, I find myself in an awkward position. You see, authorities discovered me stuck on some railroad tracks, at the wheel of Jordan’s blue car. I admitted to them that I had taken a wrong turn and was seeking help. However, the officers seemed to suspect something, noticing signs like my slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and the unmistakable scent of alcohol. Upon further investigation, it appeared I had apparently fled from a previous traffic stop. (As reported by Fox 35 Orlando)
Initially, Jordan refused to step out of the car, but in the end, he agreed. A search of his pockets found a small package of white powder, which subsequently tested positive for cocaine. As a result, he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, possessing an illegal substance, and resisting arrest without causing harm. His bail was fixed at $4,000, and he was freed later that day. The reality TV personality declined to answer any questions as he left custody.
Jordan has had encounters with the law before; back in 2012, he was taken into custody in Nebraska for disorderly behavior and refusing to comply with an arrest, eventually admitting guilt without contesting the charges. As of now, Jordan hasn’t issued a public comment about his latest arrest.
