Michael B. Jordan ‘Proud’ of Jonathan Majors, Would Work With Creed III Star Again

Michael B. Jordan says he still wants to work with Jonathan Majors.

Previously, Jordan had both directed and acted in the movie “Creed III,” released in 2023. This motion picture garnered favorable comments from critics upon its release and grossed more than a quarter of a billion dollars ($276 million) globally at the box office.

Approaching the premiere of Creed III, Majors and Jordan expressed their intentions to collaborate further, aiming to emulate the iconic duo, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.

Jordan expressed his enthusiasm and shared that he often engages in such discussions with him. “Acting is a personal battle, where you strive for your spot on the cast list for so long,” he explained. “But when you find someone who’s not as preoccupied by those details, it feels like, ‘Let’s team up! What havoc can we wreak together?’

Right after that, things took a turn for the worse when I found myself in hot water. In December 2023, I was arrested and later convicted of assaulting my ex-girlfriend. This news didn’t sit well with Marvel Studios, who had me on board as Kang the Conqueror in various MCU projects. They swiftly cut ties with me. Similarly, Searchlight Pictures also dropped my movie, Magazine Dreams. However, it seems like Briarcliff Entertainment has taken over and plans to release the film on March 21, 2025.

What did Michael B. Jordan say about Jonathan Majors?

In an interview with GQ Magazine, Jordan expressed that it was a challenging scenario to observe the events surrounding Majors over the past year.

He added, “However, he’s thriving now, as he recently got engaged. I’m incredibly proud of his tenacity and fortitude throughout everything, and the way he’s managed it all. I’m pleased to see him doing well. That’s my son.

When asked if he would work with Majors again, Jordan said, “Yes. Yes.”

In the upcoming days, you’ll find Jordan portraying two characters in Ryan Coogler’s film “Sinners,” set to premiere in U.S. cinemas on April 18, 2025.
