As a die-hard fan of ATLUS and the Persona series, I can’t help but feel like a kid on Christmas morning as I witness the incredible success of Metaphor: ReFantazio. Having grown up with the Persona games, it feels surreal to see one breaking records set by its predecessors.
Today signals the debut of Metaphor: ReFantazio, a fresh game from the creators of the Persona series. Following an influx of favorable critiques, enthusiasts of ATLUS have been swarming to this new role-playing game. Publisher SEGA has disclosed that one million copies of Metaphor: ReFantazio were sold on its launch day.
On platform X, SEGA shared an announcement about the impressive sales figure achieved by Metaphor: ReFantasio. Included in this post was a visual element showcasing Gallica, the enchanting sidekick of the game’s main character.
In other words, Metaphor: ReFantazio ATLUS has surpassed all previous sales records, outpacing the success of Persona 3 Reload this year, which managed to sell one million units within its initial week.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is one of the highest-reviewed games on Shacknews this year. For more updates on the massive JRPG, bookmark our Metaphor: ReFantaizo topic page.
