Enthusiasts of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater are yet to receive a confirmed launch date for their eagerly awaited title. Despite Konami expressing regret over their lackluster updates, fans remain clueless about when they can finally dive into the game.

On the other hand, merchandise associated with the highly anticipated stealth game reboot is being released early. Soon, Funko Pop figures of the game will become available for purchase, even before the official launch date of the game itself.

Although Konami had initially announced a 2024 release date for their game, they’ve been less than forthcoming with updates. On the other hand, Funko is set to unveil two adorable figurines this week, based on the main characters from the game – Naked Snake and The Boss. The first one is depicted with his reliable combat knife, while The Boss is shown wielding her iconic The Patriot weapon.

According to a DisTrackers post, these two action figures can be purchased from Amazon, GameStop, Entertainment Earth, and Hot Topic. Though these toys are likely to be popular among Metal Gear Solid enthusiasts, Konami has remained silent regarding the exact release date for Delta.

Over the past three months, there’s been no new broadcast of the Production Hotline, a platform that MGS fans could use to interact, ask questions, or track progress. Last seen during the Tokyo Game Show special.

Although there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, it’s being speculated that the game might debut in February 2025. However, due to the busy gaming schedule, it seems quite improbable. VideoGamer has contacted Konami for a clearer picture after a possible leak from a retailer suggested the game’s release date.
