In a jocular manner prior to Donald Trump’s inauguration, Megyn Kelly quipped about Jennifer Lopez, “Now speaking of J.Lo, how thrilled are you [that] her preferred candidate didn’t win? It’s such a pleasure.” She also made a disparaging comment about Lopez’s marital history, saying, “Jennifer Lopez seems to specialize in breaking up marriages,” and later referred to her as an “expert” in this area.
In August 2024, Lopez ended her relationship with actor Ben Affleck, marking her fourth divorce. Megyn Kelly shifted the focus to the 55-year-old singer’s support for Harris, commenting, “Why does she feel the need to cause more damage to the country?” She then wrapped up her discussion on Lopey, saying, “Well, J.Lo, it didn’t work out between you two.
