At Milan Design Week 2025, DAB Motors revealed their newest model – the DAB 1αX. This innovative electric scrambler is an upgraded, two-wheeled adaptation from the acclaimed DAB 1α, now under the Peugeot Motocycles Group.
As a gamer, I’d describe the 1αX as a fusion of dirt bike grit with street-savvy swag. It carries over the lightweight, stripped-down frame from its predecessor, but now sports Pirelli knobby tires for off-road prowess, along with a raised carbon fiber front fender and fork protectors to bolster its off-road credibility. The all-black finish and forward-thinking stance pay homage to urban aesthetics while keeping intact the legacy of off-road heritage.

It pumps out an impressive 25.5 kW peak power and a jaw-dropping 291 lb-ft of torque at the wheel, providing a thrilling yet whisper-quiet ride. This urban warrior is powered by a 72V battery, not just any battery, but one that’s recyclable and repairable, offering almost 100 miles of city range. Charging to full takes less than 3.5 hours.
Performance-wise, it boasts Paioli adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes for unmatched stopping power, regenerative braking, and a Nitro boost button for added adrenaline rush. It’s not just about speed; premium materials like Alcantara seats and upcycled Airbus carbon fiber panels elevate its style quotient. And the cherry on top? The DAB Custom Studio lets you customize every nook and cranny to reflect your unique personality.
