Yet beyond his exceptional acting skills, he is renowned for his humility, down-to-earth demeanor, and simple lifestyle. Rooted firmly in tradition, Rajinikanth embodies the essence of family values. Although we’re all familiar with his wife and offspring, few are privy to the fact that Rajinikanth considers a librarian as his father figure. Indeed, this is not a typo; it was in 2012 when he chose to adopt a man who donated all his earnings to charity.
As a devoted follower, I’m sharing insights about an extraordinary individual, Mr. Palam Kalayanasundaram. This compassionate soul, serving as a librarian, chose to give away every penny he earned to those in need. Over the span of three decades, Kalayanasundaram selflessly donated all his hard-earned money to charitable causes.
In 2012, Rajinikanth chose to regard a social worker named Kalayanasundaram as his father, moved by the man’s selfless work. According to India TV’s report, Kalayanasundaram shared that Rajinikanth, also known as the Vettaiyan actor, has asked him multiple times to move in with him, but Kalayanasundaram declined each time.
Mr. Kalayansundaram, who spent a decade as a hotel server, generously donated his pension of ten lakh rupees to charity. Notably, Mr. Kalayansundaram is the first individual globally to dedicate all of their income towards a charitable cause.
The United Nations Organization (UNO) honored him by naming him among the Remarkable Individuals of the 20th Century for his exceptional contributions to society.
In terms of his career, Rajinikanth has wrapped up the filming for an upcoming project titled “Vettaiyan.” This film is helmed by director TJ Gnanavel and represents a long-awaited reunion between Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after quite some time.
In addition to the lead role, Vettaiyan boasts an outstanding ensemble including Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier. Moreover, the actor who played The Jailer is set to appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming film titled Coolie as well.
Additionally, it’s been announced that Rajinikanth will join forces with Nelson Dilipkumar once more for the sequel to his 2023 movie titled Jailer. Interestingly, Yogi Babu has shared that the script for Jailer 2 is being developed at this moment.
