In the year 2007, Wilson published her second book, “Uninvited,” which was distinct from her earlier work and specifically catered to young adult readers. A year later, in 2008, the sequel to “BloodAngel” titled “Lord of Bones” hit the shelves. Later, in 2004, she had twins through in vitro fertilization, followed by triplets in 2006. On September 13th, 2008, Justine announced that she and Elon were separating, but they continued to jointly raise their children.
Later on, Wilson wrote an article for Marie Claire that detailed her criticisms of the marriage, such as Musk’s lack of consideration for her career aspirations, his desire to be seen as the “alpha” in the relationship, and his expectation that she would fulfill the role of a trophy wife.
Following this, Wilson composed an article for Marie Claire discussing her issues with the marriage, including Musk’s indifference towards her career ambitions, his need to be dominant as the “alpha” partner, and his preference for her to play the role of a trophy wife.
In the year 2010, she described herself as an “ideal former wife” and spoke highly of Talulah Riley, who was previously married to Elon Musk, emphasizing their friendly rapport.
As per her account, she decided to keep the last name Musk for the advantage of their children. In 2022, one of their twins opted to legally change her name to Vivian, reflecting her gender identity, and took Wilson as her surname, choosing to dissociate from her father’s name.
