Elizabeth Olsen expressed her preference gently when she admitted that she isn’t particularly fond of Marvel movies. The actress, who debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Wanda Maximoff in a cameo role in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier and then made a full appearance in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, has been a significant figure in the movie universe and has also spearheaded the transition to television on Disney+ with WandaVision.
During her appearance on the Wild Card Podcast, Olsen discussed the kind of job she’s currently seeking. She mentioned, “I believe I haven’t always made work decisions that align with my personal preferences, and this is something I feel I am still striving to demonstrate when I meet new people, especially during professional meetings. I want to be able to express my taste in films and literature clearly.
She becomes quite tactful in saying, “Since I’ve spent so many years working on Marvel, I want the other jobs I take on to align with my personal preferences. Although I enjoy being a part of this universe and am proud of what I’ve achieved with the character, it’s not the type of art that I typically engage with. And I’ve always been transparent about this.
