Max has unveiled a fresh, streamlined navigation menu for their streaming platform today, aiming to enhance users’ browsing experience across all connected TV devices worldwide.
What are the new changes to Max’s navigation menu?
Max has moved Max’s Home, Series, Movies, HBO, B/R Sports, and CNN Max sections from their previous top-of-the-page locations into a left-side menu that also houses Search, My Stuff, Settings, and Profiles features. This change is part of a broader user interface (UI) update, which will be introduced progressively, starting with a limited number of users and expanding gradually. The UI makeover will be adapted for each region to cater to local requirements.
Moreover, the revised navigation system has been expanded to incorporate two new sections: “What’s New” and “Categories.” The former page will display recently added movies and TV shows, as well as those set to arrive or depart soon, making it effortless for users to discover fresh content. Additionally, the “Categories” section offers a streamlined way to browse titles based on genre, brand, and thematic groupings, providing users with easy access to the extensive library available on the platform.
Following the premiere of The Pitt, Max’s latest medical drama featuring ER alum Noah Wyle, I’m thrilled to share that there are more original series on the horizon from Max. One of them is Duster, a gripping crime thriller produced by J.J. Abrams. Additionally, some fan favorites like Peacemaker Season 2 and Hacks Season 4 will be back this year too!
