As an ardent fan, I couldn’t help but express my excitement upon hearing the thrilling news about the partnership between Matt Hardy’s former home, TNA, and the captivating WWE NXT. The recent confirmation through a press release of their multi-year agreement has sent waves of anticipation throughout the wrestling community.
This arrangement enables stars from both NXT and TNA to feature on one another’s regular TV episodes, live events hosted by WWE, and TNA Pay-Per-Views. By 2024, numerous performers from NXT and TNA had guest appearances on each other’s programming.
Excitingly, I’m thrilled to share that WWE and TNA Wrestling have just sealed a long-term collaboration. This partnership is designed to open up extraordinary crossover possibilities within both WWE and TNA programming for our NXT Superstars and TNA Wrestling Stars! It’s going to be an incredible journey, bringing together the best of both worlds in professional wrestling!

Spectators often saw Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry consistently showcased on WWE NXT, not merely as occasional guests but in crucial matches. At the WWE NXT Battleground event, Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title, while at WWE NXT No Mercy, Hendry squared off against Ethan Page for the NXT Championship.
In addition to NXT’s rising stars, various talents found their way onto TNA shows. For instance, Wes Lee temporarily teamed up with The Rascalz again. Notable figures like Charlie Dempsey, Riley Osbourne, Dante Chen, Gallus, Arianna Grace, Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, and others demonstrated their abilities in TNA. Intriguingly, Matt Hardy sparked anticipation by suggesting The Hardy Boyz might be on the horizon, implying that he and his brother Jeff could potentially join the partnership.

Matt Hardy parted ways with WWE back in early 2020, and his brother Jeff joined him later in 2021. After a brief stint in All Elite Wrestling, they’ve recently returned to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where they’ve been wrestling consistently since then.
More recently, Jeff Hardy has shown enthusiasm for renewing his famous feud from 2009 against CM Punk in a possible future bout. Given the latest collaboration, it’s intriguing to speculate whether The Hardy Boyz could make an impact across both brands now.
