The movie you’re referring to is actually a sequel, following the 2019 release titled Mathu Vadalara. This film was skillfully directed by Ritesh Rana. In the original installment, we were introduced to the tale of Babu and Yesu, roommates and delivery agents who, in an attempt to earn more money, resort to illegal means. However, their situation escalates when they find themselves in a tricky predicament, leading to a chain reaction of chaotic yet amusing events.

In Mathu Vadalara 2, Sri Simha, Satya, and Vennela Kishore reprise their roles from the original film, continuing the story that followed afterward. Originally delivery agents, they’ve now been promoted to special agents. Yet, as before, they encounter multiple obstacles that put their new duties to the test, resulting in a series of humorous incidents.

Initially, the initial installment of this series was praised broadly with numerous positive comments from critics. However, the follow-up movie garnered mixed responses, ranging from positive to neutral feedback from critics.

It’s worth noting that before the film hit theaters, it was also promoted by Prabhas, Sri Simha’s uncle SS Rajamouli, in exclusive videos. Furthermore, popular Telugu actors such as Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu expressed their appreciation for the movie following its release.

In simpler terms, the famous actor, Mahesh Babu, found the movie extremely funny and labeled it as a “riot of laughter.” He shared that he and his family could hardly keep from laughing while watching it, and they were impressed by the whole team behind the film.
