As a seasoned gamer with a deep appreciation for historical epics, I must say, the latest trailer for “Mary” has piqued my interest significantly. With its stunning visuals and an ensemble cast that includes the legendary Anthony Hopkins, this biblical epic promises to be a riveting journey through one of history’s most intriguing figures – Mary of Nazareth.


Netflix has unveiled the authentic Mary preview for its forthcoming biblically-inspired movie, set in the period following Jesus’ birth. The movie can be streamed from December 6, 2024 onwards.

This biblical epic, as seen from Mary’s perspective, narrates the tale of one of history’s greatest figures – leading up to the birth of Jesus. After a miraculous conception, Mary faces rejection but finds herself on a momentous journey, forced into hiding. When King Herod commands a brutal search for her newborn son, Mary and Joseph are compelled by faith and courage to flee, aiming to protect their child at any cost.

As an avid viewer, I’m sharing my excitement about this video that presents Noa Cohen, portraying Mary of Nazareth, who experiences the miraculous birth of God’s son and subsequently goes into hiding with Ido Tako’s character, Joseph. This production also offers a captivating glimpse into the role of Oscar-winning actor Anthony Hopkins as King Herod. Joining the cast are Stephanie Nur as Salome, Susan Brown as Anna the Prophetess, Ori Pfeffer as Joachim, Eamon Farren as Satan, Hilla Vidor as Anne, Mili Avital as Mariamne, Gudmundur Thorvaldsson as Marcellus, Dudley O’Shaughnessy as Gabriel, Keren Tzur as Elizabeth, Mehmet Kurtulus as Baba ben Buta, and Mila Harris as a young Mary.
