Marvel’s What If…? Season 3 Trailer Features Storm’s MCU Debut

As a longtime Marvel enthusiast with decades of comics under my belt, I am beyond excited for the upcoming third season of “What If…?”. Having grown up watching the multiverse unfold in countless alternate reality stories, I can’t help but feel like this animated gem is tailor-made for me!


As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that Marvel Studios has dropped the official trailer for Season 3 of “What If…?”, the much-anticipated final season of the hit Disney+ animated series. Mark your calendars! The action kicks off on December 22, with a fresh episode unveiled every day for an amazing eight-day run.

In Season 3, “What If…?” resumes its exploration of the multiverse, reaching its grand finale. Prepare to see familiar faces make surprising decisions that drastically change their universes into extraordinary variations within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Watcher will serve as your guide as we venture into fresh genres, more magnificent spectacles, and encounter remarkable new characters.

Who is in the What If…? Season 3 trailer?

The trailer provides fans with a new look at returning characters from the first two installments, including The Watcher, Captain America/Sam Wilson, The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, and Hulk/Bruce Banner, Howard the Duck, Darcy, Wong, Peggy Carter/Captain Carter, Kahhori, and more. Oscar nominee Jeffrey Wright is also returning to once again voice the character of The Watcher. The video also offers the first glimpse at some of the new characters from the MCU’s Phase 4-5, including The Red Guardian, Agatha Harkness, Shang-Chi, Monica Rambeau, Kate Bishop, and Storm the Goddes of Thunder. This marks the latter’s first-ever appearance in an official MCU project.

This show titled “What If…” originates from writer A.C. Bradley and director Bryan Andrews, who both hold the role of executive producers. The production is handled by Danielle Costa, Carrie Wassenaar, and Alex Scharf, while Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, Matthew Chauncey, and Bryan Andrews serve as executive producers.
