As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for Marvel characters and a particular fondness for Jeff (I mean, who doesn’t love a good abominable snowman?), I can’t help but get excited about NetEase Games’ latest announcement for Marvel Rivals – the Winter Celebration event!
NetEase Games has unveiled the initial seasonal celebration for Marvel Rivals, dubbed as the “Winter Festivity.” This event commences this week, offering gamers a total of five fresh character skins and a Limited-Time Mode that revolves around the popular sea creature, the land shark.
The trailer unveiling Marvel Rivals’ Winter Fest event showcases the five winter-themed costumes soon to grace our hero shooter characters. These chilly makeovers are in store for Venom, Groot, Magik, Rocket, and Jeff. You can earn Jeff’s costume by accomplishing challenges, whereas the other four will be available for purchase in the shop.
Alongside cosmetic items, the Winter Celebration event will also introduce Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival, a novel Limited Time Mode. In this mode, all players take on the role of Jeff and employ his icy breath to freeze as much of the map as they can. The team that has frozen the most area by the game’s end is declared the victor.
